The major scientific achievement has been to define a novel area of research - Living Technology - commencing with, but also extending beyond, artificial cell research for novel IT.
The scientific activity of ECLT has been developed, from its foundation, to achieve the goals laid out in the PACE project. Workshops, seminars, conferences, and visitors have all been dedicated to encourage the multidisciplinary collaboration across the fields of physics, chemistry, biology, mathematics, statistics, and computer science to help us reach the objectives of PACE.
